Algorfa
One of the charming Costa Blanca villages to the south of Alicante, Algorfa is located beside the Segura River just inland from the popular coastal town of Guardamar del Segura, and close to the villages of Almoradi, Daya Nueva and Benejuzar (as can be seen on the Algorfa map on the right). Algorfa is surrounded by orange and lemon groves, which until the arrival of tourism, was its main source of income. Close by is the renowned La Finca golf course, which opened in 2001, there is also significant new development for those wishing to purchase a holiday home, or settle in the area. Algorfa is handily placed for the airport at Alicante, just a half hours drive away, it is also close to the motorway, so great for visiting the Costa Blanca and Costa Calida. For beach lovers the town of Guardamar del Segura is just a short drive away.
